RE:   END OF TERM II, 2015 CIRCULAR LETTER.
  1. The School has closed for Term II holidays today, Thursday, 13th August, 2015. It will re-open for Term III on 5th September, 2015.
  2. On behalf of the Board of Governors, PTA Executive and staff, I wish to express our appreciation for the support you give to the school in various ways.
  3. Academics:
    1. The Progressive Tests were administered for non-candidate classes and the results were given to parents who turned up on Visitation Day.
    2. The Mock and End of Term II, Examinations for candidate and non-candidate classes respectively, ended on Wednesday, 12th August, 2015.
      The marking of Examinations will take place over the holidays and the results/report cards will be ready at the beginning of Term III, 2015.
    3. Encourage your son to take off time for his books, over the holidays, for a brighter future in the school.
  4. Co-curricular Activities:
    Students are encouraged to participate in various co-curricular activities.

    1. Our school will represent Teso Region in Music, Dance and Drama National Competitions scheduled for 14th to 16th August, 2015, at the National Theatre Kampala.
    2. The scouts team will represent Soroti District in the National Competitions and celebrations to be held from 18th – 28th August, 2015 at Kaazi, Entebbe.
    3. The Baseball team will participate in the National Competitions to be held from 21st – 28th August, 2015, at Nakirebe, Mpigi District.
  5. Discipline:
    1. You are reminded to encourage your son to observe good discipline. Failure to adhere to school rules and regulations may lead to exclusion from school.
    2. Two students in S.3 who were involved in gross indiscipline are on suspension pending the decision of the Board of Governors.
  6. Teso College Aloet Day/Alumni Day:
    1. The school celebrated its 61st Foundation Day, on 9th July, 2015. The Celebrations included; health Camp, Marathon from Soroti town to school and award of Prizes.
    2. His Excellency, Gen (Rtd) Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, the President of the Republic of Uganda, was successfully hosted in the school. He presided over a fundraising organized by the Alumni and the school.
  7. Requirements for Term III, 2015:

    2. You are reminded that unpaid fees in a Term attract 10% surcharge.
  8. Reams of Paper: It‘s the turn for S.2 and S.3 students to bring along reams of Rotatrim Printing Paper.
  9. Events for Term III/Dates to take note of:

    3rd October, 2015 Prayer Day for S.4 and S.6 Candidates. Parents are encouraged to attend.

    N.B:

    • All Events start at 10:00 A.M.
    • The school will not tolerate in future parents who do not turn for school events meant to help the students in various ways.
