    After the busy weekend schedule, Monday opens with students smartly and meticulously dressed in their school uniforms. Lessons commence at 7:20am and continue up to 10:00am, when the bell rings for a 30-minute break. After the break is over, students assemble at the school main hall. West wing students walk from their wing to East wing to attend the morning assembly. Students seat themselves in a pattern of rows and columns, meanwhile soft music wafts from the entertainment corner.     TESO College Aloet in Soroti district on Saturday awarded the Order of Merit to its best performing students for both Ordinary (O) level and Advanced (A) levels for the year 2010. Teachers heading different departments were also rewarded for their outstanding contribution to the school’s academic performance. Teso College is one of the oldest schools in eastern Uganda.
