The Head Teacher‘s Visitation Day Message for 9th April, 2016

Dear Parent or Guardian,

You are warmly welcome to visit your son. Please, take note of the following:

  1. Teachers administered Progressive Tests to S.2, S.3, S.4 and S.6 students. Meet with the class teachers to discuss your son‘s performance.
  2. On Saturday, 19th March 2016, we had a Careers Meeting with the parents/guardians of Senior One and Senior Five students in the school. Great thanks go to all the parents and guardians who turned up on that day. All parents/guardians are encouraged to treat school meetings as a serious matter for the continued and meaningful stay of their sons in Teso College Aloet.
  3. All parents/guardians of Senior One and Senior Five students who did not sign performance agreements with the school on 19th March, 2016, should meet the class teachers and show a commitment towards the academic progress of their sons.
  4. Your child’s continued stay in Teso College Aloet will depend on satisfactory academic performance and good discipline. We call upon parents/guardians to prepare a learning environment for their sons right from home. In addition, make your child aware that today is a world of stiff competition. The issue is not just about passing examinations, but rather the quality of their passing.
  5. As we celebrate the milestone of 61 years of existence, Teso College Aloet is one of the few traditional schools in Uganda that has maintained steady academic progress over a long period of time. In UCE 2015, we had 96 students (translating to 47%) in Div I; our best student in UACE 2015 obtained 19 points.
  6. All S.4 students are required to present the institutions/schools of their choice after ‘O’ Level as they register for the UCE Examinations, 2016.
  7. You are reminded to clear outstanding fees and balances, because all fees defaulters will be sent back home on Monday, 11th April, 2016. You are also reminded that unpaid fees will have a 10% surcharge added in the subsequent term.
  8. The possession of cell phones by some students is still a challenge in the school. Caution your son against possession of prohibited items on campus.
  9. Term I, 2016 will close on Thursday, 12th May 2016. Arrange to send transport money for your son in a timely manner.
  10. We wish you a good time with your son and a safe journey back home.

Yours in service,
